The legend

Indu — “the moon”.

Across the river from the Taj, an emperor laid out a garden purely for viewing marble by moonlight. Indu — “the moon” — is a turned cylinder of Indian Statuario with a gentle waist, made to glow the same way at the edge of a sofa.

The diagonal veining wraps the form without a seam, so the table reads as one risen piece of moonlit stone.

Every Indu is carved to order in our New Delhi atelier — the block chosen with you, the proportions tuned to your space, the surface finished by hand. Reference size: Ø 42 × 50 cm, in a honed finish.
