The legend
Setu — “the bridge”.
The fort-builders of Marwar trusted one shape above all others: the arch. Setu — “the bridge” — is that royal engineering distilled to a single inverted U of red Jodhpur sandstone, the stone of the Blue City’s ramparts.
Two ten-centimetre slabs curve continuously into the top, carrying weight the way the old gates did: without apparent effort.
Every Setu is carved to order in our New Delhi atelier — the block chosen with you, the proportions tuned to your space, the surface finished by hand. Reference size: 160 × 40 × 85 cm, in a honed matte finish.
Every gate of Mehrangarh is an arch that learned to carry weight lightly.
