The legend
Pravesh — “the entrance”.
The great fort doors of Rajasthan weighed tonnes and turned on a fingertip — engineering hidden inside ceremony. Pravesh is their heir: a single black slab of Bhainslana Black on a concealed pivot, with a full-height brass pull.
Several hundred kilograms of stone, balanced so a child can open it. That contrast is the luxury.
Every Pravesh is carved to order in our New Delhi atelier — the block chosen with you, the proportions tuned to your space, the surface finished by hand. Reference size: 260 × 130 cm, in a honed finish.
Palace doors were judged by weight; the heavier the door, the lighter it had to swing.
